To my fellow Canadians – Happy Canada Day!
I just wanted to share my most recent acquisition today. After collecting for so many years, I finally added something I’ve always wanted to add: An NHL Game-Used Puck!
A few weeks ago, another collector, Robin, reached out to me through email. He explained that his family was a billet family for Enroth when he came to Calgary for a tournament over 20 years ago around 2004. He also mentioned that he is still friends with Enroth to this day, and I found that pretty cool.
Aside from meeting another Enroth collector, his main reason for reaching out was to inquire about my extra copy of the 2009-10 Upper Deck Young Guns High Gloss card #/10. Seeing another collector in need, I was more than happy to let this go to help his collection. The amount of people who have helped out my collection in the past is too long to list, so I believe you need to pay it forward when you can.
To my complete surprise, Robin offered a nice gift in return. A game-used puck from a game between the Calgary Flames & Los Angeles Kings on April 5th, 2016. The LA Kings would win the game 5-4 in Overtime, marking a notable milestone in Enroth’s professional career – his 50th NHL win.
This would turn out to be his final win in the National Hockey League.

To add a puck from such an important career milestone is a pretty big deal.
What an awesome puck this is!
I managed to find some photos from that game. Is this puck in either of the photos below? Maybe!

Huge thank you again to Robin for helping my add another cool piece to the collection. I hope you enjoy your new cards!
Happy Collecting everyone,
Aaron
