Another Upper Deck 300 Win Club add! Glenn “Mr. Goalie” Hall!

Glenn Hall 300 Win Club

I’m excited to unveil another element of my collection today as I share another addition to my Upper Deck 300 Win Club Jersey card set. As I explained in my earlier post, I explained how my only set completion so far (06-07 Fleer Hockey Netminders) was one of the only sets that really drew me into collecting it, as my collecting habits primarily revolve around player collecting. The Upper Deck 300 Win Club cards were another set I just had to go far, even if it would take me awhile.

I really love the simple designs on the cards, such as the smaller memorabilia window, plus getting a chance to collect some of the best goalies in NHL history with varying playing era’s also drew me in as well.

Another part about this set I really like is that Upper Deck has continued to roll out new checklists for this set in almost every Series 1 product since the 2012-2013 season, piggybacking off of the original Upper Deck: A Piece of Historysets from the late 1990’s. So it gives me something to look forward to every release seeing if they’ll add anymore goalies to this rolling checklist.

Today’s set update features “Mr. Goalie” Glenn Hall. I really like the beige jersey swatch on this card, as it definitely looks a lot nicer than a plain white swatch, which even then I don’t mind. Each card, no matter the swatch, brings me closer to having a complete set. Adding the Hall today was my 11th card from this 300 Win Club set so far. Although I haven’t hit this set as hard as I would have liked, I am very pleased with my progress thus far.

Just wanted to give a huge shoutout to Steffen (CanucksFan007 on SportsCardForum) for helping me add this card my set collection. He was kind enough to reach out to me and we got a deal done really fast. Steffen has helped out my Enroth PC a ton in the past, so It was no surprising he helped come through for me here on another great trade.

If you have any of these 300 Win Club cards, please let me know, as I might still need it for my set. Thanks!
