There are patch cards…. and then there are PATCH cards. In the mail recently, I received the latter. After help from one of my good buddies in this hobby, I received this awesome 2013-14 ITG Between The Pipes 1/1from the One Of A Kind patch set. Even though this card is unlicensed, it still remains one of the coolest pieces in my collection due to the unique patch piece. 2013-14 ITG Between The Pipes was the final hurrah for the BTP product and one of the last of the ‘old’ In The Game products before the name and assets were sold off to Leaf Trading Cards. As a product, Between The Pipes enjoyed many years of success in the hobby and it’s a brand that I personally enjoyed very much. I mean, how can you go wrong with a product exclusively made for goalies, right? The One Of A Kind 1/1 cards were always a step above the rest, as they featured many colourful pieces of memorabilia that isn’t normally used on patch cards and fully deserving of the 1/1 print run. While this wasn’t the only “O.O.A.K” set from ITG, it has also been continued in
Dr. Price President’s Choice Trading Card products, too. The patch piece on this particular Enroth card features a Buffalo Sabres crest patch from their 40th Anniversary alternate uniforms:

How cool is that? So glad I was able to add this exceptional patch card to the collection.
