Another Jersey Numbered card for the PC!

As this collection continues on, one of the elements I enjoy adding to this collection are jersey numbered cards.

For those who aren’t familiar with jersey numbered cards, they are players’ cards that share the same serial number as their jersey number. In Enroth’s case, his jersey numbered throughout his career has primarily been the number 1.

This is the 16th jersey numbered card in my collection (For the record, I do not consider 1/1 cards as jersey numbered cards as part of this count), and I’m always happy to add more.

This card is from the 2009-10 Upper Deck Be A Player product, and it’s the short-printed Player’s Club parallel, numbered to just 15 copies.

The photo used on this card is from Jhonas Enroth’s NHL Debut against the Boston Bruins on November 7th, 2009.

Pictured in the background are a collection of old Swedish match stick labels. I picked these up at a match stick museum in Jönköping, Sweden, earlier this year on vacation. Sweden has been known for their match stick manufactering capabilities on a global scale, so it was interesting to see a museum dedicated to their unique craft.

Oh! Before I forget…. This card makes it card number 691 for the collection. The countdown has begun for the big 700th card milestone for this collection. What a ride it’s been so far.

Happy Collecting,
