2022 President’s Choice In The Crease Complete Logo #CL-8 Jhonas Enroth 1/1

What a way to end 2022!

In the final month of the year, I picked up my most exciting addition of the year.

When I had heard the newest President’s Choice product (In The Crease) was released, I was eagerly waiting for a checklist to see what new cards would be out there. As soon as I noticed this shield card within the Complete Logo subset, that was one that I was hoping I would have the chance to add to the collection, and I managed to do just that.

This card marks my very first game-used NHL Shield card for the collection. Better late than never, as the old saying goes.

Edit: After some more research, this shield (and other LA Kings memorabilia used in President’s Choice Enroth cards) came from a 2015-16 Set 2 white away jersey, with the Meigray number M03349 as confirmed on their population reports.

I have found some photo-matches due to some of the wear on the shield! I believe it was used in the following games:

January 24th, 2016 – vs San Jose (3-2 Win)
February 11th, 2016 – vs New York Islanders (5-2 Loss)
February 14th, 2016 – vs New Jersey Devils (1-0 Loss)
March 15th, 2016 – vs Dallas Stars (5-2 win)
March 21st, 2016 – vs Nashville Predators (Relief Appearance)
April 5th, 2016 – vs Calgary Flames (5-4 Overtime win – Enroth’s 50th career win!)
