A long awaited addition to my ongoing project: 2012-13 Upper Deck A Piece Of History: 300 Win Club – Miikka KiprusoffAs a somewhat ‘new’ Calgary Flames fan, I can’t help but enjoy this new Kiprusoff card in my collection. Watching him play since I was a younger goalie myself, you always had to respect “Kipper” when he strapped on the pads. There was no telling when his next highlight reel save was going to show up. A very intense competitor throughout his NHL career, and especially his time with the Flames, where he finished his strong career with 319 career wins.
What makes this Kiprusoff card so special is that it is one of the rarest cards in the 300 Win Club set when it was first released inside Upper Deck’s flagship 2012-13 UD Series 1, as stated by the short print information below:
300-MK Miikka Kiprusoff Group B 1:4,754 (Overall 1:864 Hobby packs). So as you can probably tell, this card does not pop up often. It is a key card in my hunt for the complete Upper Deck Win Club set, a set I’ve been building since 2017.
The last card I need to track down is the elusive Ed Belfour, which just so happens to be the rarest card in the entire set in Group A, with falling
1:16,605 packs.
I’ll just leave this picture here if anyone can help out….

The last remaining card for a completed set: 2012-13 Upper Deck Series 1 – A Piece Of History: 300 Win Club – Ed BelfourA few years ago, I made a goal to collect the basic variations of the Upper Deck Win Club cards within the A Piece Of History subset, which originated in 2002. Happy Collecting,
