Sometimes, you don’t appreciate what you have until it’s gone.
That was the case base in 2014-15, when Swedish collectors were enjoying their yearly anticipation of new SHL cards to hit the shelves. Little did they know, that 2015 would be the last time a company was given permission to manufacture SHL licensed cards… until now.
Earlier in the Fall of 2025, I heard some amazing news that the SHL had granted the licence to a Slovak company named SportZoo.
SportZoo is a trading card manufacturing company based in Bratislava, Slovakia. They have been manufacturing trading cards since 2016, and their product lineup feature many different sports.
My first experience with SportZoo cards within my collection was with their SHL LIVE program, which captures moments from the 2025-26 SHL season.
Enroth was added to the very 1st edition of the SHL LIVE set with his Highlight reel save from earlier this season. This behind-the-back glove save will likely be the save of the year! If you haven’t seen the save, you can view it

These LIVE cards were only made available for 7 days. After that, the print runs for each player were set based on how many orders they received. Enroth’s LIVE card had a print run of just 70 cards.
There were also parallels included too, which were distributed at random. I was lucky enough to receive a Green parallel /5. There is also a Red parallel /3 and the 1/1 Gold parallel.
The main event I was looking forward to was the release of SHL Series 1, which released on February 23rd, 2026.
This releases did not dissappoint, as Enroth was included in many different sets, including having some memorabilia, too! Considering SportZoo was granted the SHL licence not too long ago, I was certain they wouldn’t have had the opportunity to acquire any game-worn memorabilia from any of the players. I’m glad I was wrong! I’ll be trying my best to hunt down as many of these cards as I can.
My first mail day was this past week, and it delivered this amazing Game Jersey Autograph card /25 that I added through a Facebook deal. The 3-colour jersey memorabilia is from the large jersey number on the back of the jersey.
I also had the opportunity to open a box this week, and it did not disappoint. These cards are well made and feature sharp designs!
Jhonas Enroth 2025-26 SHL Series 1 – Game Jersey Autographs 8/25
This game-worn SHL memorabilia comes from a 2025-26 SHL preseason game on September 2nd, 2025. Örebro HK lost 6-5 in a shootout to Leksands IF. I was lucky enough to find a photo-match below from that game!

For the past few years, I would come into each year thinking this might be the year that the SHL gets cards again. It was wishful thinking at best in my mind, but I’m so glad it finally happened. I didn’t think it would happen when Enroth was still playing – So the timing worked out perfectly!
I am really excited to have the opportunity to add more cards into my collection, especially from the SHL. This will become yet another ‘era’ in my collection, which expanded many times since it began in 2010. Wow, time sure does fly.
