Another game-used jersey added to the collection!
After Enroth’s trade to the Anaheim Ducks in 2017, he backed up Jonathan Bernier at various points during the second half of the season, including their final game of the Playoffs, but did not play. He then helped lead the San Diego Gulls (AHL) into the Playoffs with his remaining time inside the Anaheim Ducks organization.
Following the 2016-17 season, Enroth would head over to Europe to join the KHL with Dinamo Minsk for the 2017-18 season. Although this jersey was not worn during a game with the Anaheim Ducks, it’s nice to have a piece from the final NHL franchise he was a part of in his career. This jersey was a backup-worn jersey during the Anaheim Ducks / Washington Capitals game on March 12th, 2017. This night was a special 10-year celebration of the Anaheim Ducks first Stanley Cup win in 2007, which was simultaneously California’s first Stanley Cup winning franchise. In light of these celebrations, the Ducks had these jerseys made for just that night.
These jerseys notable feature the 10-year anniversary patch on the front of the jersey, just above the team logo crest. They also feature a unique tag on the inside of the jersey as well to signify its use from this specific game.
