2022-23 President’s Choice In The Crease StickRack Quad /3 with Buffalo Sabres Goaltenders Craig Anderson, Jhonas Enroth, Ryan Miller and Dominik Hasek.
When the President’s Choice In The Crease checklist was introduced, out of all the quadruple memorabilia cards on the checklist, this StickRack /3 memorabilia card jumped out at me the most. This card features game-used stick pieces from four notable past and present goaltenders on the Buffalo Sabres: Craig Anderson, Jhonas Enroth, Ryan Miller and Dominik Hasek.
Since Enroth hasn’t had many multi-player Sabres card combos since his NHL days, this was a welcomed card for my collection. Plus, as an added bonus, it’s never a bad thing when you can find a HOF goalie (who some might even consider the best to ever play the position) on the same card, too!
Aside from the awesome player selection on this card, the design features an outdoor arena coated with a unique colour palette on the card, which I really enjoy. Whether you’re a fan of President’s Choice Trading Cards or not, you got to hand it to them for bringing some fresh designs into the hockey card market. I for one really like this execution for a memorabilia card.
With this final card, I have successfully tracked down all non-1/1 cards from the In The Crease product.
The Enroth game-used stick memorabilia piece on this card comes from a piece of the stick shaft from one of his Warrior sticks he used during his first professional season in North America in 2008-09 AHL with the Portland Pirates. I’ve included two photos below of Enroth using the same model stick in March of 2009 for reference.
