As the 2026-27 season begins for Enroth and AIK, another President’s Choice card gets introduced into the collection.
Today’s featured card is the latest Made To Order (MTO) for my collection, and it’s a beauty. My first MTO from President’s Choice was back in 2024, and it was a great experience. To essentially “create” your own card is something collectors have always dreamed of, at least I have. Many times.
A little while ago when I was scoping out eBay, I stumbled upon this fantastic Vezina memorabilia card that was originally created back in 2017. It stopped me right in my tracks, and for good reason.
While the card itself and vintage pad memorabilia is amazing, the design stuck out to me the most. I really enjoyed the modern card elements mixed with those vintage accents. The slightly curved memorabilia window is also a nice touch.
After much thought, I figured it would be a perfect design for my next Made To Order card this year.
With the design in place, it was time for the memorabilia piece selection, which is always the fun part!
During the 2015-16 season while Enroth was with the Los Angeles Kings, the team celebrated its 50th Anniversary as a team on February 9th, 2016. To celebrate this historic milestone, the Kings wore these special set of Forum Blue (cadmium yellow and purple) throwback jersey’s multiple times throughout the season.
Over the course of the 2015-16 season, the Kings wore this anniversary gear setup on 4 separate occasions. Enroth appeared in warm-ups and backed up Jonathan Quick in all 4 games.
- November 10th, 2015 on Nick Nickson Night, a 3-2 loss to the Arizona Coyotes
- February 9, 2016, a 9-2 victory over the Bruins in Boston. (50th Anniversary of the day the Kings were granted their NHL franchise in 1966)
- February 23rd, 2016 on Mike Donnelly Night, a 2-1 victory over the Calgary Flames
- March 7th, 2016 on Jimmy Carson Night, a 5-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks
Enroth also wore this gear in practice to break-in the new anniversary gear throughout the season. That is where it saw the majority of use.

A few years ago, Brian Price at President’s Choice Trading Cards was able to acquire the matching retro glove and blocker set Enroth wore during that season.
The game-worn memorabilia on this card comes from a piece of the blocker. This is where this card displays a unique twist compared to other standard blocker memorabilia cards.
On most prominent pieces of equipment, a goalie will have their name embroidered on it. With Enroth, however, he took a more inspirational approach to his custom-made blockers, often sporting a personalized motto in Swedish tailored specifically for him to refer to in games. This same messaging was present on the majority of his blockers during his NHL career.
I found an old photo of this exact CCM Premier blocker from that season, which has a close-up of the custom embroidery found on the backhand of the blocker:
For those who don’t have a Swedish-speaking wife like I do at home, the message on Enroth’s blocker translates to the following in English:
Play for others. Be professional

I know I can
I have always thought the blocker Inscription was a great idea, and the same inscription is also found on the 2013 Reebok Premier game-worn blocker I own as well from earlier in his career that he wore with the Buffalo Sabres and Team Sweden. This specific swatch is a portion of the word “proffsig“, which means professional in english.
To complete the Swedish connection on this card, I wanted Enroth pictured on Team Sweden. This headshot image worked perfectly with the overall design of the card, and I’ve always had a soft spot for cards that picture that player with their national team representing their country.
Here’s a look at the front & back of the finished product. I think it came out really nice!
This card is the 94th 1/1 in this PC, and it’s one of the most unique memorabilia cards in my entire collection.
