Hello, collector friends!
In late September, I picked up another Vault card for the collection. For some collectors, a Vault card is nothing to write home about, but for me it gives me a (literal) excuse to grab a hot beverage and sit in front of my computer and type away for a little while to entertain myself and whoever decides to read it (Thank you!).
Article ramblings aside, I do appreciate the story that goes into a stamped card.
What specific card was stamped (are there any more?), where & how was it released, and why was it stamped in the first place? These are all great questions that go into adding a stamped card. To me this takes a seemingly ordinary card and elevates it rather than decrease it.
Since a lot of these types of cards don’t have official checklists released alongside them, there is really no way to know which cards out there have stamped versions or not. While that can be frustrating, it’s always fun when a new version pops up that I’ve never seen before. If you remember,
back in June I found the first stamped copy of this He Shoots He Saves card (originally a points Redemption #/20) I’d ever seen, and now I’ve lucked into another one from the same seller no less.
I picked up the Emerald Green stamp in June, and found the Sapphire Blue stamped version in September. Very cool! While I don’t know for sure, I assumed back in June that this stamped version is from the 2015-16 In The Game (ITG) Final Vault product release.

Here’s a look at both of these cards side-by-side. This new Blue stamped version is the 37th Vault card in my collection in total. If you find any more, please give me a shout.
Happy Collecting,
Aaron
