“R” You Ready For This New 1/1 Card?

President’s Choice – In The Crease – Nameplate Letter “R” 1/1 of Jhonas EnrothAnother day, another card from the newly released In The Crease product from President’s Choice.

I’ve been having a blast picking up these new cards. It was a nice surprise to see Enroth included in a NHL boxed product in 2022, especially when featured in so many key sets within the product. Who knows if/when that will happen again, but I’m just enjoying the ride.

Today’s new addition is a 1/1 from the Nameplate set. This card features the letter “R” from one of his jersey’s with the Los Angeles Kings.

I’ve always been a fan of nameplate cards, going back to SP Game Used’s ‘By The Letter’ from back in the day. As a kid I always imaged how cool it would be to own a card featuring this letter concept, and I’ve been fortunate to pickup a few for my collection.

For those wondering, I will not be pursuing the complete Nameplate for this set. While it would be a sweet accomplishment, I find more enjoyment in going after other cards instead, along with leaving the other letters out there for other collectors to enjoy. Maybe I will see more letters become availible in the future and change my mind, but for now I am completely content.
